The types of parts that we routinely plate are 4-6 inches long and have an OD of approximately 0.2 inch. The parts are plated in barrels. We find that these parts tend to tangle and sometimes break the danglers. Rack plating is too expensive. P.B. A. Your e-mail does not give many details, but I assume you are using standard barrels. You might try using smaller barrels and use contact buttons instead of danglers.
