Thanks from an automotive materials engineer for your response to P.R. in the October 2001 issue. To set product requirements, our industry develops accelerated testing to predict field performance. We take into account the environment (under hood, body cavities, etc.), substrates and the "finishes" to select the proper combinations so our final product does not look like crap. I appreciate the great job you do monthly in defining strengths and weaknesses of powder coating. Keep calling 'em as you see 'em. C.S.
