Just in case your lose your shirt at the blackjack table while at Fabtech in Las Vegas Nov. 12-15, Products Finishing magazine will have you covered.
Stop by our booth (C-2254) at the Fabtech Finishing Pavilion and pick up a FREE limited-edition Products Finishing T-shirt that is custom-designed to highlight your "activities" in Las Vegas. We're betting more than a few finishers might end up losing their shirts while in the world's most exciting city. The PF shirts are available while supplies last.

"We're always looking out for our readers, so what better way than to help if their luck runs out on them," says Todd Luciano, Products Finishing publisher and resident blackjack guru. "I can't say that I've ever lost at the blackjack table. I have, but I just won't say it outloud."
Products Finishing readers also can go home with a souvenir cover of the magazine, complete with their very own photo emblazened on it ... maybe even with a "Top Finisher of 2012" headline that will be sure to make him or her the envy of any shop. We'll email it to you so that everyone can see how big you made it in Las Vegas.

PPG Industries’ industrial coatings business has published a brochure highlighting its new "Secure Launch Excellence" process, a proprietary four-phase process created by PPG to accelerate the development of new coatings colors and formulations.
The brochure details how PPG guides customers through four distinct and highly structured product development stages, from documenting customer requirements in Phase I through product commercialization and evaluation in Phase IV. The goal of the Secure Launch Excellence process is not only to speed up the development of new coatings but also to transition them quickly and seamlessly into customer manufacturing processes.
In addition to describing the Secure Launch Excellence process, the brochure highlights PPG’s global sales, technical service and problem-solving capabilities as well as the numerous industries PPG serves, from automotive and consumer electronics to architectural, industrial and heavy-duty equipment applications.
Visit PPGindustrialcoatings.com to download the brochure, or call 1-888-774-2001 to request a hard copy.

The Chemical Coaters Association International will offer 38 hours of industrial finishing programming during the technical conference at FABTECH from November 12-14 in Las Vegas, including an "Introduction to Powder Coating" two-hour session conducted completely in Spanish.
Long known for offering new and innovative programming, CCAI’s 2012 Finishing Conference offers a wide array of sessions for those new to finishing and for those who have been finishing a long time.
Visitors will find everything from running an efficient liquid system, building blocks of a powder system, advances in porcelain enamel, an introduction to electrocoating, a wide variety of finishing case histories, finishing essentials that cover racking, conveyors, testing, cleaning/pretreatment, infrared technology and more.
“We are very proud to offer programming in Spanish for the first time,” says CCAI Executive Director Anne Goyer. “All promotion and all content for the session will in Spanish. This type of educational offering is so important, not just in the U.S. but around the world. We are developing an outstanding introductory session that has been much needed. Each attendee will also receive a copy of CCAI’s Powder Coating training manual in Spanish.”
Ron Lum of Coral Chemical, CCAI Southern California Chapter president and CCAI National Board of Directors Treasurer, is spearheading the development of our Spanish session.
“This is a much needed educational session,” says Lum. “There really isn’t much in the way of manufacturing educational opportunities conducted in Spanish in the U.S. This session will be appropriate for Spanish-speaking individuals new to powder coating, those operating a powder coating line or those interested in getting into the powder coating business.”
