DuPont Powder Coatings Hosts “Sailing into New Horizons" Conference For Customers

DuPont Powder Coatings hosted a customer conference called “Sailing into New Horizons” in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in April, welcoming 65 key customers, allied suppliers, press and trade association leaders.
DuPont Powder Coatings Marketing Manager Trena Benson the conference featured keynote speakers, DuPont Star CoaterCouncil forums, business improvement presentations, panel discussions, technology directions, a supplier trade fair, and relationship building events.
“There is no doubt that when we reach out to help our customers grow stronger businesses, the end result brings greater value to our entire industry,” says Benson, who was joined at the conference by other DuPont executives, including Dave Lazzeri, the business director for DuPont Powder Coatings Americas and Nigel Budden, business director for DuPont Performance Coatings North America (pictured above)
Keynote speakers focused on topics such as:
  • Transforming from a Commodity to a Profitable Niche Market (Drew Greenblatt - Marlin Wire Inc.)
  • Business Transformation to a High Quality, Top Performing Business (Charles Howison - Alumi-Guard )
  • DuPont Economist's view on the US/Global Economy and Key Drivers in our Industry ( Robert Shrouds).
