Electrocoat Association Presents Brewer, Best End-User Awards

25. March 2014

Previous winners of the Brewer Award gathered at the 2012 Electrocoat Conference.

The Electrocoat Association will be naming winners in two categories at the upcoming ECOAT14 conference, April 22-24 in Orlando, FL. The winners of the George E.F. Brewer Award and the Best End-User Paper will be announced at the conference at the Rosen Center.

The George E.F. Brewer Award has been presented since 1990 to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the field of electrocoating in the categories of technology, application and promotion. Dr. Brewer is generally credited with the original idea of electrodeposition of paint through his work and research while at Ford Motor Company in the late 1950s.

The Best End-User Paper award is presented to the person whose written technical and case-study is deemed the best of the conference.

The awards will be presented on Wednesday, April 23 during a luncheon. Registration for the event can be made at electrocoat.org.
