The Electrocoat Association and the Chemical Coaters Association International are hosting the 2015 Electrocoating Seminar at the Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel in Novi, Michigan, September 22–23, 2015.

An Introduction to Electrocoating will kick off the first day of the classroom-style program, providing some basic electrocoating knowledge to update attendees on the technology before tackling more advanced topics throughout the remainder of the seminar. The discussion will center on efficiency, reducing production and non-production costs and overall system effectiveness in the different areas of the electrocoating process. Industry experts will move through an electrocoating system to expose typical areas of energy, waste and cost savings per component, while also discussing ways to maximize efficiency through racking, enhancements, and so on. Troubleshooting for defects that could possibly plague a system will be discussed and illustrated with actual examples available for inspection.

The seminar will also include a tour to provide attendees with a “real-world” experience to complement the classroom-style learning.

An evening networking event gives attendees the opportunity to meet the presenters and ask questions specific to their company’s needs; refreshments are included.

Registration for the Electrocoating Seminar includes educational program, networking reception, lunch and breaks, transportation to/from the plant tour (if available) and a copy of “Electrocoating: A Guidebook for Finishers” (a $79 value).
