Henkel Webinar Focuses on Paint Stripping

Henkel will be hosting a webinar on Oct. 19 for North America and Oct. 20 for Europe on paint stripping. There is no charge for the webinars.

 

The webinar will be hosted in conjunction with Products Finishing magazine. Paint stripping is an important component of the aircraft lifecycle. Within this crucial step in the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) process, it controls corrosion and weight, contributes to the appearance of the aircraft, and enhances the inspection process.

 

Participants will learn about the:

  • Overall paint stripper process
  • Examine Paint Stripper considerations and options
  • Discuss environmental variables

 

The presenter on Oct. 19 will be Kristina Tkacz and Mike Sisson. Tkcz is the Technical Service Manager Aerospace  for Henkel; she has been with the Henkel facility in Madison Heights, MI. She has serviced the Aerospace Industry for 5 years and has 10 years of experience with analytical laboratory testing, including full product analysis and manufacturing support for all Henkel products. In her role as one of Henkel’s authorized certified instructors, Kristina conducts the trainings for the Aerospace Surface Treatment product line to our Authorized Distributors and Customers. Sisson is the Surface Treatment Business Development Manager for the Aerospace group of Henkel.  Prior to this position, Mike managed the southern region distributor network. Mike has 32 years of experience in the aerospace industry. His experience includes airframe and power plant applications within the OEM / MRO processes in the Military, Commercial and General Aviation segments.
