Metal Finishing Association Hosts Conference and Expo in Queretaro, Mexico Feb. 2016

Attendance expected to be 150 exhibitors and 1,000 attendees from the automotive, aerospace, appliances, electronics, construction and lighting industries

The Mexican Association for Surface Finishing (AMAS) has announced the dates for their annual Conference and Expo that will be held in Queretaro, QRO at the Congress and Convention Center from February 22-24.

 

The theme of the event will be “A Window of Opportunity” highlighting the enormous opportunities that currently exist in the growing manufacturing industry of Mexico. Attendance at the event is expected to include more than 150 exhibitors and 1,000 attendees, from the automotive, aerospace, appliances, electronics, construction, and lighting industries among others.

 

Participants in this event will have the chance to receive specialized training with international recognition and access to the latest technologies as well as interact with hundreds of professional experts and discuss opportunities in this expanding market driven by the growth of the automotive and aerospace industries in the country.

 

“This is an unprecedented event for this very important industry in Mexico,” said Marcelo Alvarez, president of AMAS. “The Surface Finishing Industry of Mexico now has access to up to date knowledge on new trends and technologies and very specialized training programs without having to travel outside of Mexico.”

 

The Mexican Association for Surface Finishing (AMAS) is a nonprofit association created to serve the surface finishing industry of Mexico. The mission of AMAS is to promote business, education and innovation for the industrial surface finishing community of Mexico, including anodizing, electrolytic and organic coatings and finishing in general.
