The Waterborne Symposium

The Waterborne Symposium is a technical forum dealing with coatings and related fields, with a focus on sustainable materials and practices.

There will be paper presentations pertaining to new and emerging technologies related to materials, processes, production, characterization, application and markets in the field of surface coatings.  In addition to the main technical program, the Waterborne Symposium also includes two short courses (held Jan 31 – Feb 2), a student poster session – including a meet and greet reception with the USM students, and a three-day Technology Showcase Exhibit Hall featuring tabletop technical exhibits.

The conference was founded by members of the School of Polymer Science as the University of Southern Mississippi (USM). The Waterborne Symposium has been organized and executed by faculty, staff, and students of the School of Polymers and High Performance Materials at USM.

Registration for the 44th Annual International Waterborne, High-Solids, and Powder Coatings Symposium is now open.
