Pentair has had success in determining causes of defects in cured coatings using the digital pocket microscope, dpm. Bernie Walz, Pentair, will demonstrate the dpm and share how it is used to resolve contamination issues on the line.
Using Kaizen to Optimize Finishing Line Productivity
Matt Kirchner, American Finishing Resources, will talk about using Kaizen to drive productivity improvements of 40% to 300%. This session will explain the Kaizen process and help you get started. Several real-world examples of coatings operations that have used the kaizen process to generate huge improvements in coatings line performance will be shared.
