CCAI Wisconsin: Plant Tour of Tramontina

Join the CCAI Wisconsin Chapter for a plant tour of Tramontina cookware.

Tramontina USA is a leading manufacturer of high quality cookware and houseware products supplied to national and international retailers.

In 2005, Tramontina USA established a factory in the state of Wisconsin. Located in the city of Manitowoc, the subsidiary company, Tramontina U.S. Cookware, produces aluminum cookware vessels. The manufacturing process provides a variety of options for finishes, such as hard anodized, colored ceramic-coated, colored porcelain enamel, bright multi-colored exterior and polished and satin commercial-grade aluminum alloy 3004.

In the process, these finishes are combined with the best and latest generations of PFOA-free nonstick and ceramic coatings available from the world’s leading manufacturers.

Tramontina USA expanded their cookware production capabilities at its Manitowoc, WI, plant to meet growing demand for color and ceramic-coated cookware in 2014. At that time they added a six-stage stainless steel pretreatment spray washer with blow-off, dry-off oven, forced dry-off cooling tunnel, spindle conveyors, liquid spray booths with auto-rotators, insulated convection flash zones, multi-zone cure ovens, top coat forced cooling tunnels, and stainless steel haze washers with heated blow-offs. This paint line alone is over 681 feet long.
