AkzoNobel Powder Coatings’ Interpon D3000 Fluoromax architectural coatings have been awarded a Certificate of Material Excellence by Material ConneXion and accepted into its library of advanced, innovative and sustainable materials and processes. This Materials Library features more than 7,000 cutting-edge materials in eight distinct categories. Interpon D3000 Fluoromax is featured in the polymers section.

According to AkzoNobel, Interpon D3000 Fluoromax coatings use fluorocarbon polymer technology to deliver superior AAMA 2605-compliant protection and performance, on par with liquid PVDF. Formulated to provide exceptional longevity for exterior use on a range of applications, the coatings are suited for use in high-UV, high-humidity and coastal marine environments, or virtually any environment where premium durability is required, without compromising powder coatings’ inherent sustainability characteristics.

Interpon D3000 is part of the Interpon D powder coatings range designed specifically for architecture. This series is said to meet and exceed every AAMA specification and is created with durability and superior weathering in mind. The Interpon D range is available in solid colors, metallics, textures and more.
