AkzoNobel’s chief executive, Hans Wijers, will resign after the company’s annual shareholders’ meeting in 2012.

AkzoNobel’s chief executive, Hans Wijers, will resign after the company’s annual shareholders’ meeting in 2012. Tom Buchner, currently CEO of Swiss industrial conglomerate Sulzer AG, will replace him.
