Originally developed in 2011 for metal stud and other construction applications, the InterCoat Chemguard family of coatings is now used in end products for the transportation, consumer products, agricultural and off-highway vehicle markets.

InterCoat ChemGuard became a registered trademark of Eco-Green Coatings LLC, a division of Chemcoaters, Inc. Bill Capizzano, president of Chemcoaters, announced the news from his company's Gary, Indiana, headquarters.

Originally developed in 2011 for metal stud and other construction applications, the InterCoat Chemguard family of coatings is now used in end products for the transportation, consumer products, agricultural and off-highway vehicle markets. The company features its 300 series, an RoHS-compliant coating with a trivalent chromium chemistry as an alternative to the common hexavalent chromium formula used in the metal coatings industry.
