While retaining all of the information from the previous site, the improved site has increased user-friendliness, easier navigation and sourcing.

Empire Hard Chrome, Inc. has launched a new and improved website at empirehardchrome.com. While retaining all of the information from the previous site, the improved site has increased user-friendliness, easier navigation and sourcing, before and after pictures, and more relevant information pertaining to specific benefits of hard chrome plating, tin plating and other metal finishing solutions, the company says.

"We wanted to create a website that functions not as an online store, but as an online tool for customers’ convenience and knowledge," says Steve Wallin, Empire Hard Chrome’s president. "We’re old-school, and most customers still prefer to contact us directly about the specifics. All of our orders are ‘special orders.’”

Those concerned about wear life of components, corrosion protection, mold productivity, labor costs, tooling down time, parts sticking in molds, costs of repetitive tool maintenance/replacement and more can avail themselves of information on appropriate finishing and plating choices. This information is organized in two ways: by application, or type of item to be plated, such as production component, mold, die, roll, etc, and also by treatment, or finishing option, such as Empire’s proprietary hard chrome, PTFE-infused hard chrome, moly-disulfide-infused hard chrome, tin, etc.
