International Paint’s protective coatings business has opened a testing laboratory for fire protection products at its Felling, UK, site.

International Paint’s protective coatings business has opened a testing laboratory for fire protection products at its Felling, UK, site. The company’s Interchar and Chartek coatings are used to protect steel structures such as commercial buildings and oil and gas installations. The company says the new laboratory joins new polymer research and corporate research laboratories established by AkzoNobel’s powder coatings business on the same site.
