Columbia Chemical has promoted Mark Schario to vice president over the company’s entire technologies section, which includes research and development, technical support, and quality control.

Columbia Chemical has promoted Mark Schario to vice president over the company’s entire technologies section, which includes research and development, technical support, and quality control. He also will continue to function as its liaison to the automobile industry and will continue to serve as committee chairman to ASTM B08 on metallic and inorganic coatings.

Schario has more than 30 years of industry experience, specializing in automotive and aerospace finishing. He is a Certified Electroplater-Finisher and a member of the National Association for Surface Finishing.
