Corrosion Control Group Names Executive Director

The NACE International Institute has appointed Helena M.

The NACE International Institute has appointed Helena M. Seelinger as its executive director. NACE International was formed in 1943 as an authority for corrosion control solutions; the Institute was formed in 2012 to establish an organization focused on certification activities and further advancing the corrosion profession.

Seelinger has been a staff member of the organization since 1986 and has served in multiple leadership roles, including as interim executive director in 2005, director of education, and, most recently, senior director of membership and government relations. She will be a non-voting, ex-officio member of the Institute’s Board of Directors, responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the its day-to-day operations, and will maintain oversight of NACE International’s technical activities, membership, public relations and public affairs activities.
