C&R Plating's Dennis Blaugh Succumbs At Age 61

Was making plans for retirement in June after 43 years

Dennis Blaugh, 61, president of C&R Plating Corporation, passed away April 11 at Physicians Regional Hospital in Naples, Florida.  

He was was making plans for his retirement in early June after 43 years at C&R Plating, a subsidiary of KC Jones Plating Co.

� Company officials say Dennis will be remembered as "a friend to all, a trusted colleague, a loving husband, wonderful father and grandfather.  He was a big part of the success of C&R Plating as a result of his leadership and mentoring.  His sudden passing is a shock to all who knew him in the metal finishing industry.  His contribution to the company and the community will surely be missed." 

Survivors include his wife, Marsha; a daughter, Missy (Doug) Sands; grandchildren, Jordan, Liam and Rhiannon Sands, all of Columbia City; a step son, Jeffrey (Carla) Stier of Fort Wayne; step grandchildren, Brittany and Alison Godfrey of Ohio; his mother and three siblings, Mary Blaugh, Gail (Bonnie) Blaugh, Barbara (Edward) Thompson and Doug (Sindy) Blaugh, all of Columbia City. 
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Richard Lee Blaugh.
