The Electrocoat Association and Products Finishing released the ECOAT16 Conference Program. The conference supports the expansion of electrocoat technology through the education of finishing industry personnel and those interested in the technology, both as a coating application and as a primer of choice for many other topcoat finishes.

Speakers Tim Weingartz, from Ford Global Paint Engineering, and Gary Vasilash, editor-in-chief of Automotive Design and Production, will deliver keynote addresses. Each keynote will be followed by moderated, interactive panel discussions on topics including operating costs, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Afternoons will consist of a series of learning stations with topics such as cleaning, new trends, ancillary processes and ecoat methodologies.

ECOAT will also host a welcome reception at the Rosen Centre’s poolside pavilion, an Industry Awards Banquet to honor the industry’s elite and A Night at the Exhibits, offering attendees direct access to suppliers of equipment, chemicals, paint and finishing applications in a casual, entertaining environment.
