Enthone Inc. recently celebrated the two-year anniversary of its Entek OSP Final Finish Verification Program, which enables OEM and EMS companies to easily confirm that the Entek OSP-coated printed circuit boards (PCBs) they purchase are supplied by a certified Entek PCB fabricator. It also provides the PCB fabricator with confirmation of approved distributors that are authorized to distribute, sell and provide technical support of Entek OSP final finish chemistry.
According to Enthone, this verification program ensures product reliability and, since its inception, has enabled OEMs, EMS and PCB fabricators to increase yields, improve quality, and reduce rework and rejects. This has translated to more than $1.5 million in savings to the entire supply chain, the company says.
Customers may confirm that they are receiving PCBs coated with a certified Entek OSP system by visiting enthone.com/Entek_Plus_HT.aspx. Upon completion of a short online submission form, an Enthone expert will provide an immediate verification response, address questions and arrange for any further consultations requested by the customer.
