The expansion kicks off the company’s industrial 3D printing operations.

The ExOne Company (North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania), a provider of 3D printers and printed products, held a ground-breaking ceremony in October for the construction of a $20 million facility in Gersthofer, Germany. Scheduled for completion in the latter half of 2014, the facility will include approximately 150,700 square feet for production, warehouse, service and R&D space, as well as approximately 27,600 square feet for offices. The company will be consolidating its five existing leased facilities in Augsburg into the new building.
