Jack Tetrault of Sanford Process is Chairman of the Aluminum Anodizers Council

The results of the Aluminum Anodizers Council's (AAC) annual election of Officers and Directors were announced at the 25th Annual Anodizing Conference and Exposition on October 5 in Montreal, Canada. Jack Tetrault, Partner in Katahdin Industries in Massachusetts, Chief Operation Officer for D-CHN and President of Sanford Process Corporation in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, was elected to serve his first one-year term as Chairman of the Aluminum Anodizers Council.

Tetrault has over 35 years of experience in the anodizing industry beginning in 1978. He earned his business degree from Johnson and Wales University and has owned and/or operated anodizing job shop businesses in New England since 1984.  He has his name on three anodize patents.
Jack Tetrault first joined the AAC Board of Directors in 2012 when he was elected as a Firm Director.  “The Aluminum Anodizers Council is made up of a great group of knowledgeable and dedicated people that strive to make our industry stronger,” Tetrault says.  “I’m honored to be elected Chairman of AAC.”

Todd Hamilton, Branch Manager for Southern Aluminum Finishing Company (SAF) in Atlanta, Georgia, was elected to a one-year term as Vice Chair of the Council. Hamilton has 27 years of experience in sales, marketing and management with 19 years in sales, sales management and operations management for Southern Aluminum Finishing Company managing SAF’s sales and operations efforts of aluminum extrusion, flat sheet, fabrication and finishing services for the Atlanta facility.

Hamilton first joined the AAC Board of Directors in 2006 when he was elected as a Firm Director. He previously served as Vice Chairman in 2008-2010 and as Chairman from 2010 through 2013. 
Jeff Henderson was elected to the nonvoting position as President of the Council for one term.

Four new members were elected to the AAC Board of Directors. Shayne Seever, VP Administration at Sierra Aluminum in Riverside, California; and Lewie Smith, President of Jordan Aluminum Extrusion in Memphis, Tennessee, were elected to new two-year terms as Firm Directors. Mary Oakley, Manager-National Accounts at PotashCorp in Northbrook, Illinois, was elected to serve a two-year term as a Supplier Director; and Scott Walker of Products Finishing Magazine in Cincinnati, Ohio, was elected to serve a two-year term as a Professional Director.

Remaining on the Board of Directors are Firm Director Roger Thomas, Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Alexandria Industries in Alexandria, Minnesota; Firm Director Ed Burlingham, President of Burlingham International in Costa Mesa, California, and Janette Courtney, Environmental Compliance Manager at Bonnell Aluminum in Newnan, Georgia.
