LA-CO Industries Inc./Markal Co. has named George Bowman as the company’s president, replacing John Hardin, who retired. Prior to joining the company, Bowman was vice president of construction products for Miller Electric in Chicago. He also has worked as president of Enerpac at Actuant Corp. and at General Electric Industrial Systems in a variety of sales, engineering and business leadership roles. He has an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Minnesota.
