Omegasonics’ (Simi Valley, California) ultrasonic generators have obtained Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification. CSA certification means the company’s products have been certified by an accredited third-party laboratory and have met applicable safety standards required by North American law. The CSA standards used in Canada are considered equivalent to the safety standards required by both the Underwriters Laboratory (UL) in the United States and TUV Rheinland in Germany. With the CSA approval, the generators meet UL and TUV safety standards and the company can extend CSA certification to many of its products.
