Plasmatreat Acquires Plasma Specialist

Plasmatreat US has acquired California low-pressure (LP) plasma specialist 4th State Inc., whose prime assets include the R2R60, a 60-inch wide continuous roll-to-roll plasma chamber used for the plasma modification of rolled goods including wovens, non-wovens, films, foils and membranes.

Plasmatreat US has acquired California low-pressure (LP) plasma specialist 4th State Inc., whose prime assets include the R2R60, a 60-inch wide continuous roll-to-roll plasma chamber used for the plasma modification of rolled goods including wovens, non-wovens, films, foils and membranes.

This is Plasmatreat’s second purchase of a LP plasma company, having acquired Plasma Technology Systems in 2011. The company expects to move operations to a new, combined location in the San Francisco Bay area by the end of the third quarter of this year.
