Plastics Plating Company Builds Mexican Production Facility

SRG Global Inc, a provider of coatings on plastics for the automotive industry and other non-automotive applications, has broken ground on its newest facility in Irapuato, Mexico.

SRG Global Inc, a provider of coatings on plastics for the automotive industry and other non-automotive applications, has broken ground on its newest facility in Irapuato, Mexico. Completion is expected in the first quarter of 2012, according to Kevin Baird, SRG Global president and CEO, who made the announcement.

 

The facility will have complete part production capability, including plastic injection molding, top coat, chrome-plating and assembly. The initial phase of the project, estimated at $25 to $35 million, has been approved based on fulfillment of all incentives and agreements with local authorities. The facility will serve a variety of OEM automotive and non-automotive customers.
