Sherwin-Williams Co. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Consorcio Comex S.A. de C.V., a Mexican manufacturer of architectural and industrial paints and coatings, for approximately $2.34 billion, including assumed debt.

Sherwin-Williams Co. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Consorcio Comex S.A. de C.V., a Mexican manufacturer of architectural and industrial paints and coatings, for approximately $2.34 billion, including assumed debt. Comex operates eight manufacturing sites in Mexico, five in the United States and three in Canada.
