Alchrome® Tri-Tec is a trivalent protective coating with a low electrical contact impedance. Designed to be easy to use, color range is between clear and light blue. Application is spray or immersion.
The coating produces long-term corrosion protection and is Class 3 per ASTM B449. It is well-suited for aluminum products used in the automotive, aircraft, sport vehicle, architectural and hardware industries.
It is an excellent bonding agent for paint (new or repaint) and adhesives. It meets Mil-C-5541 for Class 1 and Class 3, and is RoHS compliant. It also meets the requirements of ELV and WEEE.
