Grieve Corp.’s No. 826 is a 500°F electric walk-in oven currently used for curing truckloads of industrial fuses. The unit is a modified version of the company’s standard WRH566-500 walk-in oven.

Workspace dimensions are 54” × 72” × 72”, and 30 kW of power is installed in nichrome wire heating elements, while a 4,200-cfm, 3-hp recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow across the workload.

The oven features an aluminized steel interior and exterior, 4” insulated walls, a 2” insulated floor with two pairs of truck-wheel guide tracks, two independent doors on the oven front opening with a removable mullion, and two shelf trucks with 10 shelf supports on 6” centers.

Safety features include a digital programming temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate heating element control contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch, 10”-diameter circular chart recorder and a 30-hour shutdown timer.
