The ZnBrite ABZ-470 alkaline non-cyanide zinc plating system from A Brite Co. is designed to provide deposits that are mirror-bright, uniform, lustrous, blister-free, ductile and super-fine-grained. It will be on display at SUR/FIN 2012.
The organic compounds contained in the aldehyde-free, non-sulfur system are said to be cleaner and more stable, improving the low-current-density throwing power of the electrolyte. This results in super-bright, ultra-low-current-density areas without the use of auxiliary anodes. ZnBrite ABZ-470 also features wide operating perimeters and high temperature tolerance while increasing productivity.
