Abrasive-blast cabinets, featuring self-contained media reclaimers and dust collectors, are now available from the Company, a producer of air-blast systems and equipment. These ProFormer™ cabinets require only two connections, air and electrical, and come with forklift slots to simplify transport between work stations. Models provide working enclosures of up to 46 x 52 x 48 inches. In addition to cartridge-type dust collectors and tunable media reclaimers, capable of recycling a variety of abrasives, these cabinets contain all electrical and pneumatic interconnections between components. Both suction- and pressure-blast systems are available; pressure systems include a self-contained, one-cubic-foot pressure vessel.
The dust collection/filtration system, supported by a front-mounted minihelic gage, is simple to operate and maintain. Filters can be pulse-cleaned with the press of a button. When filters require replacement, they are designed to be changed quickly and cleanly with the twist of two wing nuts. The filters slide into the cabinets where any loose dust falls inside, not on the work floor.
