Anest Iwata’s Air-assisted Airless: MSU11 Compact Multi-spray Unit combines the advantages of air spray and airless spray to suit a wide range of applications. Double action pump minimizes pulsation and reduces wear on pump components. The system is available in three configurations (wall, cart or stand mount) and in comparison with standard air spray, it shows greatly improved coating environment due to minimal overspray; coating cabinet corners or recessed areas is made easy with the system’s penetration; thick film applications are made possible when spraying high viscosity materials; and higher productivity is achievable by delivering more material to the work surface in less time. In comparison with airless spray: the unit sprays at lower fluid pressures; has softer atomization without tails; coats small parts with optimal fluid output at low pressure; and has increased pump durability due to low fluid pressure. The units are suitable applications for medium to high volume manufacturing environment, including metal products and machinery for primers and top coats.
