Systematics’ Bath Alarm amp-hour counter can also be set up as an automatic timer for plating. As an amp-hour counter, the device provides an audible warning or relay signal at a programmed amp-hour interval, displaying both a total count and interval count. When connected to a computer through a USB port, users also can set up the device to operate as an automatic timer for plating work, with the alarm sounding at the end of a time interval.
An auto reset function enables the device to alert the plating operator at the end of the count and automatically reset the count for the next rack. For maximum control, a contact output can be set up to stop the rectifier or interrupt the current flow at the end of the count.
The device is designed to assure tight control over precious metals and plating thickness for precision work. It can improve the performance of virtually any plating line, from a small hand line to a large automatic line, the company says.
