Arkema’s Rilsan polyamide 11-based powder coatings are synthesized from castor oil, a renewable resource. They feature a high level of adhesion, even under autoclaving conditions; chemical resistance to a variety of organic solvents, fats, oils and fuels; and good performance in outdoor weather, the company says. The coatings can be applied by virtually any conventional powder coating method.
