The Quattro automatic spray gun from Nordson produces fine atomization and a soft, controllable spray designed to improve finish quality with minimal overspray in both non-circulating or circulating, heated airless painting applications.
The gun features a four-in-one valve design to enhance automatic color changing without repositioning. It can accommodate as many as four different colors, or three colors and a flushing solvent. Using the company’s nozzles, the gun can provide improved atomization and minimal paint waste with a variety of coating materials, including high solids and other difficult-to-spray coatings. An optional heater is available to reduce and control material viscosity for improved operating performance and efficiency.
The gun’s modular design enables quick removal of the spray device, facilitating repair and maintenance with minimal downtime. Its Teflon-coated packing cartridge resists material buildup on the shaft and spring, for ease of cleaning and increased durability. The gun’s ball tip and seat are designed for fast, clean on/off operation to eliminate dripping and spitting for reduced rejects, booth cleanup and material costs. It has few moving parts and can be mounted on a ½-inch round bar.
