Binks’ MX Heavy Duty (HD) two-ball piston pumps are designed for harsh environments, especially for use with protective coatings. They offer quiet, low-to-no-ice operation, and are said to operate longer than competitor models without interruption.
The company’s also manufactures Gemini II double-diaphragm pumps, which provide a 1:1 ratio of fluid to compressed air supply. They are designed to pump a range of viscosities and volumes, yet their low internal velocity and gentle pumping action will not shear sensitive coatings. According to Binks, the Gemini II can run dry without damage or heat buildup, and it has no mechanical seals, eliminating leakage.
Binks also has added a medium-pressure model in its Maple line of horizontal piston pumps for air-assist applications. The pumps are designed to efficiently and gently pump a variety of coatings and keep solids in suspension. A quick-exhaust valve and patented air logic are designed to consume less air, resulting in reduced maintenance and energy costs.
