Blackmer’s “Paint & Coatings” brochure provides an overview of how its sliding vane pumps are used to improve operational efficiencies in transfer and production processes in the global paint and coatings industry.
Specifically designed to improve fluid flow efficiencies, control costs and ensure uptime, the pump line includes the SMVP series seal-less sliding vane pumps. These stainless steel pumps offer energy efficiency and life cycle advantages combined with a seal-less, magnetic coupling for zero shaft leakage when dealing with hard-to-seal hazardous liquids. The line also includes SNP sliding vane pumps with suction and self-priming capabilities, making them suited for high-efficiency offloading of resins and solvents from transports, and as transfer pumps from above- or underground storage tanks to mixers. ML/HXL series sliding vane pumps are designed for high-capacity transfer, top-to-bottom loading and unloading of resins and solvents, while durable TX series sliding vane pumps are truck-mounted transfer pumps designed for use on tank trucks and transports for the transfer of solvents and resins.
