Company will be introducing its new energy-saving, cleaner-coater ferroxphate pretreatments. Gardobond A 4922 and 4923 have been formulated to replace conventional three-stage iron phosphates. They provide superior adhesion and salt spray performance at temperatures as low as 80°F. By reducing temperatures from 130° to 80°F, energy savings of 75% can be achieved.
Also being introduced is a new, non-oil rust preventive which is capable of providing 1-2 years indoor corrosion protection. The Gardotect CP is a multi-metal safe, oil-free corrosion inhibitor formulated to impart a dry-to-the-touch film. It does not contain phosphates, nitrates or silicates and may be applied in conventional washers, immersion systems or manually. Gardotect CP also has cleaning capabilities, which makes it ideal for in-process cleaning and rust prevention of parts using a single product.
