Col-Met Launches Line of Vortex Heat Distribution Bath Ovens

Col-Met Engineered Finishing Solutions launches the new Vortex Heat Distribution (VHD) batch oven for powder or liquid applications.

Col-Met Engineered Finishing Solutions launches the new Vortex Heat Distribution (VHD) batch oven. The Col-Met VHD batch oven is typically used in smaller product runs but can be used for semi-high production of smaller parts hung on multi-part racks. Used for powder or liquid applications, batch ovens are recommended if floor space is limited and when product sizes, shapes and volumes vary frequently.

The ovens feature single and double entry and a floor-mounted heater box. Enhanced, economical burner design and its slotted channel design minimize heat transfer. The superior airflow design enables constant heat distribution from full overhead discharge. Constructed with 20-gauge aluminized steel and 4" insulated panels, the ovens offer a maximum operating temperature of 450°F and comply with applicable OSHA and NFPA standards.

Standard controls include UL/cUL/ETL listed controls, analog 1 second to 300-hour batch timer and digital temperature control and high temperature limit with rollback protection. Smart Touch PLC and touchscreen HMI control, as well as exhaust stacks and can be purchased as an additional option.

Col-Met can custom design and build ovens in a variety of sizes and configurations or standard models can be selected to fit customer needs.
