The DTX 2400 Series of DC power supplies from Dynatronix, Inc. includes five models with outputs of 0-24 V at 0-100 amps and 0-100 V at 0-24 amps. Output is limited to a maximum of 2,400 W DC. Typical applications include electroplating, electro-polishing, anodizing, waste water treatment and cathodic protection.

With universal input, the power supplies will operate on 100-240, 47-63 Hz, single-phase AC input. According to the company, the FPGA controller automatically detects the incoming power levels and optimizes the power supply to gain the most efficiency. Power factor is 0.99 minimum for full load operation; ripple is less than 1 percent rms of peak-rated output. (When connected to 120 V AC, maximum output is limited to 1,200 W.)

The series offers features such as a menu-driven, 4.3” full-color display; ampere time totalizer; ampere time, real-time and manual cycle control options; visual tolerance alarms; fault detection; and Ethernet/IP or analog communications. The units measure 3.43" × 8.45" × 18", and the enclosures are made of powder-coated aluminum and environmentally sealed to protect the critical electronics from harsh environments.
