Angle Pivot products from Mighty Hook close up unnecessary spaces on existing conveyors to increase coating line capacity by as much as 50 percent, the company says. Closer rack spacing increases capacity and creates a solid wall of parts, increasing paint line efficiency. More accurate spray gun-to-part spacing ensures coating consistency and decreases waste.
Conveyor lines running relatively “flat ware package” items with inclines and declines of more than 30 degrees need wide spacing between racks in order to navigate the inclines and declines, which means less consistent coating, low efficiency/slower through-put of parts, the company says. The company’s devices use gravitational forces to tilt racks out of the plane of the conveyor on inclines and declines.
The devices can be adapted to existing conveyors or new conveyor systems, and are compatible with all Mighty Hook rack systems.
