The Elmasonic P series digital ultrasonic cleaner from Tovatech features dual-frequency operation and variable power controls that, together with normal, pulse, sweep and degas functions, and temperature and time controls, enable users to more quickly establish a standard procedure for sample preparation or lab cleaning.

The Elmasonic P series digital ultrasonic cleaner from Tovatech features dual-frequency operation and variable power controls that, together with normal, pulse, sweep and degas functions, and temperature and time controls, enable users to more quickly establish a standard procedure for sample preparation or lab cleaning.

The cleaner’s cavitation-resistant, stainless steel tank is available with capacities ranging from 1 to 7.5 gal. It offers multiple options for sample preparation and equipment cleaning, including a 37-kHz “normal” mode for general ultrasonic cleaning; a degas mode for HPLC samples and solvents or to degas new cleaning solutions; and an 80-kHz mode for delicate cleaning or removing soils from small orifices, such as capillary tubes. Other features include automatic switchover between 37 kHz and 80 kHz at 30-sec intervals; a pulse mode for a 20-percent burst in power to remove stubborn deposits; adjustable operating power; a sweep function for uniform distribution of ultrasonic cavitation and to avoid part streaking; and automatic switch-off after 12 hours of continuous operation or if the solution reaches 90°C (194°F).
