The coating is applied using a dip spin, dip coat, spray immerse or spin coat process and dries at a temperatures between 190 and 235°C, with no need for further processing. According to the company, Delta-Protekt has achieved more than 1,000 hrs without rust in salt spray testing and has a coating thickness between 8-10 µm. The coefficient of friction has achieved a mean value of 0.15 µtot, depending on the coating.
