Eastern Applied Research has added the EXr-6000 analyzer to its Element Xr line of x-ray fluorescence technology and will display it at SUR/FIN 2012. It can be configured with a traditional proportional counter detection system for coating thickness measurement or with newer detector technology (Si-PIN or SDD) to achieve qualitative and quantitative analysis down to low-level results.
