M.W. Watermark manufactures a complete line of filter presses with capacities from 0.01 to 600 ft3. At Sur/Fin 2014, it will display an automated 630-mm filter press featuring a PLC-controlled automatic feed pump control system.
The company’s de-watering products include the DryMate gas-fired continuous sludge dryer, intended for metal hydroxide plating wastes where the input to the dryer is the output filter cake from a filter press. Two DryMate models are available: the 200G processes as much as 2 ft.3 of filter cake per hour, while the 380G processes as much as 4 ft.3 per hour.
