The No. 839 electrically-heated, 850°F walk-in oven from Grieve is designed for heat treating and high-temperature batch paint baking. It measures 72 × 120 × 72 inches and features 120 kW installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 12,500-cfm, 10-hp recirculating blower provides a combination of horizontal/vertical airflow to the workload.
The oven is made from aluminized steel with 7-inch thick insulated walls, a 4-inch thick insulated floor and built-in truck wheel guide tracks. It also features inner and outer door gaskets that seal against the door plug and directly against the front face of the oven, respectively.
The No. 839 oven has all safety equipment required by NFPA Standard 86 for handling flammable solvents, including explosion-venting door hardware, a powered forced exhauster airflow safety switch and a purge timer. It also features a recording and programming temperature controller with separate contactors and a recirculating blower airflow safety switch.
