Keppel Seghers will be exhibiting its Fluid Clean, a fluidized sand bed cleaning system that removes paint and powder from metal tooling, such as paint hangers, grates, dies, nozzles and extrusion screws. Parts to be cleaned are immersed in a hot fluidized sand bed that is heated up to 850°F. The organics adhering to the metal parts are removed without creating environmental pollution. Operating costs are said to be low due to short cycle times and an easy to
operate friendly system.
With more than 30 years of environmental technology design and manufacturing experience, the systems are safely cleaning tooling all over the world. Keppel
Seghers has more than 500 installations worldwide with more than 150 in North America.
