Surmax CS-555, is a high alkaline cleaner concentrate for low foaming applications. This easy-to-formulate product is readily soluble in 30% NaOH or 45% KOH without the use of hydrotropes, says manufacturer PCC Chemax Inc.
Additionally, this material is compatible with mixed builder packages which include silicates and inorganic phosphates. Surmax CS-555 is non-substantive to metal surfaces making it well suited for pre-plate and pre-paint applications. It is designed to exhibit good rinseability and offer exceptional cleaning, particularly on high-fines soils. Formulated cleaners using this product are stable over a wide temperature range and remain gel-free during storage.
Surmax CS-555 meets EU biodegradability standards and is APE free.
