Techspray’s Renew Pine-Shower degreaser and surface cleaner removes grease and other soils, and leaves a non-oily finish. It is considered ready-to-use but also can be diluted for light surface and equipment cleaning.
The cleaner has zero VOC under California Air Resource Board guidelines and has less than 3 percent VOCs under EPA guidelines, the company says. It also is compliant with European REACH and WEEE initiatives, and does not contain butyl cellosolve, RoHS-restricted substances, SVHC-list substances or halides.
The company’s Precision-V vapor degreasing solvents remove oils, greases, silicones and other common industrial contaminants without leaving a residue, eliminating the need for further rinsing. They can be used as cold cleaners in vapor degreasing systems, evaporate quickly and are non-flammable with no flashpoint.
According to the company, the vapor degreasers are non-ozone depleting, making them suited as replacements for cleaners containing Freon, HFC-141b and AK225. The line’s parts cleaner (#1654) and flux remover (#1655) have azeotropic properties that enable them to maintain stable properties as they are cycled in a vapor degreasing system, and they are not reactive nor corrosive to the system’s metal construction. The solvents have a low boiling point, reducing heat-stress on components being cleaned and reducing energy consumption from the boil sump and chiller coils.
